First of a series of three works commissioned by the city of Edmonds, Washington. The pieces are made for mounting on existing poles that the city uses for hanging flower baskets downtown.
The three bronze and stainless steel rotors are mounted on ball bearings and balanced so they turn in a light breeze. The sculpture is designed to withstand the weather and salt air in Edmonds, which is located on Puget Sound.
